Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: England, Greater London, Wimbledon
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's specific needs
- Implement strategies to support students in overcoming learning barriers and achieving academic goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support for students with SEN
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate learning plans
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work may involve travel to different locations to provide tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
