Help Students Thrive – SEN Tutor Opportunities in Verwood

Not every learner fits the same mould—and that’s okay. With the right support, every student can make progress.

TP Tutors is looking for dedicated SEN Tutors in Verwood to deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition for students who need a more tailored approach outside mainstream education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Verwood and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one sessions based on individual needs
  • Support students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Use creative approaches to keep learners motivated and engaged
  • Build positive relationships that support confidence and progress
  • Deliver sessions in home or community settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people in any setting
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to travel within Verwood and nearby areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
