Job description

Support, Inspire, Achieve – SEN Tutors Wanted in Christchurch

Education looks different for every student. With the right support, even the most challenging journeys can lead to success.

TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Christchurch to work closely with learners who need additional support outside of mainstream education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Christchurch and nearby areas
Hours: Part-time and full-time flexible roles available

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons
  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each learner’s needs
  • Build trust and help students develop confidence and independence
  • Deliver sessions in home or community settings

About You

  • Background in education, tutoring, care, or youth work
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
  • Able to travel within Christchurch and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
