Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans based on student needs and abilities
- Implement specialised teaching techniques to support SEN students in their learning
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Patience and empathy when working with SEN students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN education or related field
- Experience working in a variety of educational settings
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Working closely with SEN students in a classroom or one-on-one setting
- Collaborating with other education professionals and parents
- Adhering to safeguarding and SEN policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
