SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Assist students in developing study skills and strategies to improve academic performance
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning goals
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN regulations and best practises
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching strategies
- Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education or related field
- Experience with assistive technologies for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work may be conducted in schools, students' homes, or online
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
