SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs
- Implement teaching strategies tailored to each student's learning style
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN Code of Practise
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
- Work may involve travel to students' homes or educational settings
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
