A secondary special needs school in Walthamstow are currently seeking a teaching assistant who has previously assisted students with autism and associated behavioural needs. The role is supporting students in a KS3 group with high functioning autism who display challenging forms of behaviour and require 1:1 intervention to meet the aims of their educational healthcare plans. Those who have been successful at the school are individuals who are interactive with the pupils and also enthusiastic in supporting students with special educational needs. This role will be for an immediate start
