SEN Teaching Assistant - Tameside

An Outstanding provision situated in Tameside are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant for a January 2019 start. The head teacher is looking to meet potential Teaching Assistants ASAP so if you are interested in the role and feel that you have the appropriate skills to be considered please apply.

The setting is a small secondary special needs school which is situated in Tameside. The setting caters for secondary pupils which have a variety of needs including: PMLD, MLD, ASC and significant interaction or communication difficulties.

To be considered for the role Teaching Assistants should have:

- Experience supporting SEN in any capacity

- A passion for supporting pupils in achieving their holistic potential

- The ability to build relationships with pupils and staff

- The ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the School

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
