SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor in Launceston

a School who caters for pupils aged 4 - 16 with a wide range of learning difficulties, including moderate and severe needs, autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and social and emotional difficulties are looking for FULL TIME LEARNING MENTORS!!!
Your role will include working in the classroom, alongside other mentors and the Class Teacher by delivering a highly differentiated curriculum through personalised learning. You will support pupils on a social, emotional and academic level, encouraging development and progression in all areas.
You will be Outdoor learning such as going to the park, the beach, the woods and swimming.
The School: PLaunceston
Hours: 08:30-14:30 5 days pw
Pay: £57-£65
Duration: Perm
To be considered, your experience should include work in a specialist SEN school or setting, care work, youth work, nursing or a close personal connection to SEN e.g. a family member or friend whom you may have supported. This should be detailed on your CV in full. You will have to hold a full driving licence and have an equivalent of a level 3 qualification.
