SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Our friendly partner school in Banham is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in their rural setting. This challenging but extremely rewarding role will require you to support pupils on the autistic spectrum. Class sizes are small and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance their quality of education.

Built on a large area, the school thrives on their passion for the outdoors. Pupils are encouraged to explore the on-site adventure playgrounds and mass of outdoor space available to them. Staff at the school work hard to make sure that pupils have regular trips to their local amenities too; a particular favourite is Thetford Forest!

Ideally, you will be engaging and have a good sense of humour! This position could be either full-time or part-time and will be long-term with the prospect of it becoming permanent.

If you have experience with SEN and are interested in being a part of a very supportive team, apply now and we will be in touch shortly.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
