Science Teacher (0.8 contract)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join one of our excelling secondary schools in Oldham, on a part-time 0.8 contract (four days per week) from May 2026 to February 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality science lessons and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Teaching Science across relevant Key Stages (year groups aligned to experience)

• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging, well-structured lessons

• Monitoring student progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Contributing to the wider work of the department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Have experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

• Show a genuine passion for Science and student achievement
