Job description

SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience working with social, emotional and mental health needs? Do you want to work in education or have already? Do you have an interest in supporting children and young people?

Our school provides education and support for students for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They are looking for a SEMH TA to work 1:1 and in small groups with their most vunerable pupils in KS2. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health
  • Interest in supporting children and young people with SEMH
  • Enthusiastic and engaging
  • Have worked with children or young people
  • Open to further training and guidance

The school is very supportive and can offer further training, qualifications and support for staff.

You must be available from 8:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
