An SEMH School in Poole are looking for an exceptional High Level Teaching Assistant to start full time, who can work alongside the teaching staff and deliver 1:1 when appropriate across all secondary Key Stages.
The school is a short stay alternative provision for students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education, for students who may be at risk of permanent exclusions (dual registered), students who have specific medical needs and students who need SEND support or assessments from ages 7-17.
The successful candidate:
- Will have excellent literacy skills
- Will contribute towards the whole school and the well-being of all who attend
- Wil be able to plan and deliver interventions across the school
- Will be confident in their approach to behaviour management
- Have experience of workng with SEMH/SEND/Challenging behaviour
- Willbe flexible and innovative in their approach.
- Experience of working within an SEN Setting would be desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
