We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within specialist SEN schools, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils who require extra support to achieve their potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and nurturing learning environment.
The Role:

Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Working on a one-to-one basis and with small groups of students.
-
Assisting with the delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities.

Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement in education.

Supporting pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.

Building positive relationships and acting as a consistent role model.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.

Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
