Job description

Special educational needs support staff required to work in secondary schools across South Manchester when the school closure is over. With the current global impact on secondary schools when schools return to full timetabling there will be an increased demand for support staff specialising in the areas of special educational needs. 

If you are currently looking to start a career in education and have relatable experience in the health care sector, leisure sector or youth work sector, working as a Teaching Assistant would be an ideal role. Working as a teaching assistant will provide you with first hand experience supporting those students that require it the most ensuring that you have a significant impact on their learning.

As a Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to work with students that have moderate learning difficulties in the areas of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and social emotional mental health (SEMH).  To apply for the role you will need to have relevant work based experience, work based references and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
