SEN Teaching Assistant

A school located close to Bude are looking for an excellent 1:1 Support Assistant to work within their school on a Part time basis from September.

The School:

This school strives to ensure all pupils feel included, supported and happy at all times. They provide great facilities for both staff and pupils to use and provide excellent support to all members of staff. It is situated close to Bude and has on site parking for you to use. They liaise regularly with other professionals and parents and aim to challenge and push pupils to reach their best.

The Role:

As a SEN TA within this school, you will be working part time, 1:1 with a child who requires additional support. You will work under the class Teacher and support them with their class. You will help deliver learning activities, encourage students with their academic progress and also manage behaviour in class. You must be able to deal with students on a 1-1 level and use different techniques for challenging behaviour as and when required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
