ASC Teaching Assistant – Trafford (M16)

If so, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for you as an ASC Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant at a SEN Secondary School in Trafford.

This SEN School is a warm and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of students with a range of Special Educational Needs. Their dedicated staff members work collaboratively to ensure a holistic approach to education and the development of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • One-to-one and small group support for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in both academic and social settings.
  • Assist in planning and delivering EHCPs and behaviour support strategies.
  • Support students with emotional regulation and social interaction skills development.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team and parents/guardians.

 

Senior leadership of this school are seeking a skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and assisting students in their social, emotional, and academic development. You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement personalised learning strategies (EHCPs) and ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

About the role:

  • £84+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees),
  • Weekly pay on timesheets through Teaching Personnel,
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm approx.
  • ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
