An inclusive primary school with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere is looking for an empathetic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant. The school values diversity and is dedicated to ensuring that every child, regardless of their challenges, can access the curriculum and excel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work one-on-one or in small groups with students who have additional learning needs, helping them to engage with lessons and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with various special educational needs
  • Assisting with planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with the SENCo and class teachers

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • A patient and caring approach to supporting diverse learners
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
