Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Stockport & Tameside | Flexible Opportunities

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs across schools in East Manchester.

The role:

  • Classroom, 1:1 and small‑group support
  • Working with pupils with ASC, ADHD, learning difficulties & sensory/communication needs
  • Helping with EHCP targets, emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term placements

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with children or young people (school/care backgrounds ideal)
  • Positive, patient and proactive attitude
  • Willing to support a variety of SEN needs
  • Monday–Friday availability, 8:30–15:30
  • DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
