SEMH Teaching Assistant – Stockport & Tameside

Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate individuals to support students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs across local schools. If you’re empathetic, proactive and want a role that genuinely matters — this is for you.

The Role  

  • Classroom-based learning support
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural and complex needs
  • Day to day, short-term & long-term roles available
  • Build experience across a variety of schools

We’re looking for

  • Previous experience working with young people (school, care or youth work based)
  • Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30pm
  • Confidence or willingness to support challenging behaviour
  • A positive, resilient attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
