Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Specialist to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in the Bispham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children’s communication skills and overall learning experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to support pupils with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and create personalised support plans.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
• Track and report on pupil progress.
• Provide strategies and training to staff to embed high‑quality communication support across school.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with speech and language needs (school, clinical, or therapy setting).
• Knowledge of common communication difficulties and intervention approaches.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
• Relevant qualifications or training (SALT degree, Level 3 TA with SLCN training, ELKLAN etc. desirable).
