Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Fleetwood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in both classroom and individual settings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Provide general classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2.
• Work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Offer 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence.
• Assist with small-group interventions where needed.
• Contribute to the wider school community with a proactive and supportive attitude.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children in KS1, either in schools or similar settings.
• Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, offering patience, adaptability, and empathy.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with pupils and staff.
• Be reliable, committed, and ready to make a difference from day one.
• Hold (or be willing to apply for) a DBS on the Update Service.
