‍ General Teaching Assistant – L39 (Ormskirk)**

We are recruiting a General Teaching Assistant to work within a friendly and supportive primary school in Ormskirk (L39). This role involves supporting teaching and learning across the school, helping pupils both academically and emotionally.

There will be elements of SEN support, so applicants must feel comfortable assisting children with additional needs, whether mild learning needs, communication challenges, or emotional difficulties.

Responsibilities:

Working with individuals and groups across KS1/KS2
Supporting children with varied learning needs
Providing additional help to pupils with SEN
Helping manage routines, transitions, and classroom tasks
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

Pay:

£13.75–£14.50 per hour (PAYE)

Requirements:

Experience working in a primary school
Ability to support SEN pupils confidently
Positive, patient and proactive attitude
CV and relevant experience required
