SEN Teaching Assistant

One of our partnership SEN schools in Cheadle are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team!

In this role, you will support young people with complex needs such as Autism, physical disabilities, and cases of challenging behavior to achieve their learning goals.

You will also support children to develop their independence and raise their confidence.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting. Or If you have any personal experiences supporting with SEN (Desirable, not essential)
• Confidence and willingness to learn
• The ability to be a proactive and effective member of a team
• A kind, caring and empathetic naturing
• A genuine passion for working with children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
