We’re looking for a kind, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Somerset. If you love working with children and want to make a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you!

 

SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Somerset

Salary: £13.75

Start Date: Immediate Start

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students 
  • Helping pupils build confidence and independence.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who’s caring, reliable, and ready to learn.
  • SEN(D) experience in or out of an educational setting.
  • Psychology-based education is a plus!
  • A team player with a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
