SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a school in Salford that is actively seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Year 4. The successful candidate will work in a well-rated school that is committed to fostering the spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual development of all students, regardless of their abilities. This is a full-time role (8:30 am - 3:30 pm) starting after Easter.

The Role:

• Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
• Offer one-to-one support to SEN students, helping them achieve their learning goals.
• Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Relevant experience working with students with SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Level 2 Safeguarding Course (training available for this qualification).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
