Join Our Team of Teaching Assistants at an SEMH Behaviour School in Poole!

Are you passionate about supporting secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are an education-based agency seeking dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistants to work at a Poole-based SEMH behaviour school. Full-time and part-time positions available!

About the Role:

• Support secondary-aged students in a SEMH environment, both in group settings and 1-1 sessions.
• Help students with their academic and emotional development, providing tailored support to help them thrive.
• Occasionally, you may be required to accompany students offsite for educational activities or external placements.
• Foster positive relationships, encouraging students to engage with learning in a structured and supportive environment.
• Flexible working hours—choose from full-time or part-time opportunities based on your availability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people, especially those with SEMH and behavioural needs, is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, patient, and resilient attitude to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students.
• Willingness to support students both in school and offsite when required.
• A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
