Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Location: Everton (L3)

Weekly Schedule: 30 hours spread over 5 days. 8:45 am – 3:15 pm.

Rate of pay: £11.85 per hour.

About the Role: Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in a respected Primary School? We are currently offering a full-time position as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Everton (L3). In this role, you'll work closely with a Year 3 student, contributing to their academic and personal growth. The school has garnered praise from its stakeholders, including staff, parents, and students, for its strong leadership under the SENCO and Headteacher.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, addressing their specific learning and developmental needs.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and professionals to implement personalized learning plans and strategies.

Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials tailored to the needs of SEN students.

Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in maintaining an inclusive and well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Behavioural Support: Implement effective strategies for managing behaviour and promoting positive social interactions among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
