Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of £83 - £95, and is perfect for individuals holding a childcare qualification who are eager to support the learning and development of students with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a high-quality education.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behavior and facilitate a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students in developing social skills and encourage their participation in classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- A recognized childcare qualification.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
