SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced ASC with autistic pupils who have in a superb and well-resourced Autism (ASC) resource base in a mainstream primary schoo. The role starts in September 2020 and would be for the full academic year at a daily rate between GBP70 and GBP80 per day.

A fantastic SEN ARP that works closely with a superb primary school to work with ASC pupils in Forest Gate, East London are recruiting for a new member of staff to work with their KS1/KS2 pupils. The ARP is well funded and resourced with some excellent teaching staff and SLT to work alongside.

-Experience working with Autistic pupils is preferred but not essential

-EYFS experience would be beneficial due to the level the pupils are working at

-Pupils are verbal some have additional needs as such experience with SEN pupils is required in either a mainstream or SEN setting

-PECS and Makaton experience is desired.

You will be working as a support staff member in a team of two who will work throughout the KS2 class providing additional support to those classes who need it most throughout the day.

Located in Forest Gate the school is well connected with the Tube and buses there is also parking on site.
