SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start
Garstang (PR3)
£14.25 – £15.00 per hour (PAYE – no umbrella deductions!)

Looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference every day? Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely, supportive school in Garstang (PR3) who are on the lookout for a kind, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.

If you enjoy working with children and want to help them grow in confidence and reach their full potential, this could be the perfect role for you


✨ What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them feel included and understood
  • Working alongside the teacher to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Helping children with additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH) to access learning
  • Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Being a friendly, reliable adult that children can trust and feel safe with

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience working with children (this could be in schools, care, coaching, youth work, etc.)
  • Are patient, caring, and have a great sense of humour
  • Want to make a real impact in a child’s school day
  • Are reliable and happy to get stuck in as part of a team
  • Have a DBS or are happy to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
