SEN Teaching Assistant

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school. The school caters for pupils aged 4 – 11 with Profound or Multiple Learning difficulties including Autism. If you wish to be part of this fantastic team you should:

This school boasts state of the art facilities, including a purpose-built outdoor area, low stimulation room and work room. The children are placed into smaller classes based on their individual needs with staff with a wealth of experience and skills. The classrooms are all different and are designed around the individual needs of the children in that group.

Your role would be to implement a personalised learning plan designed by the school and class teacher. These plans are often centred around play and visual based learning with a heavy emphasis on character building and social development.

Due to the schools location in Flixton, it is easily accessible by car and public transport.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
