SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Didsbury (January Start)
Join Teaching Personnel and support a specialist SEN Hub within a vibrant primary school

Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate, proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support a dedicated SEN Hub in one of our partner primary schools in Didsbury. This is a full-time position, starting January, ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils with additional needs thrive both academically and emotionally.

About the Role:
Within the school’s specialist Hub, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities in a calm, structured environment
• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development
• Work closely with the Hub Lead, SENCO and class teachers to implement personalised support plans
• Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Help maintain a nurturing, safe and inclusive setting

We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care or similar settings)
✔ A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
✔ GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
