SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Daventry area. Due to a greater intake of pupils who require additional support, the school wish to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant ahead of the new school year and are offering the successful Teaching Assistant a full-time temporary position for 12 months, with a view to be then taken on a permanent basis.
We invite applications from candidates with relevant experience, whether gained in a classroom or a non-educational setting. Several of our client secondary schools in Northamptonshire are already preparing to hire ASC Teaching Assistants to support students joining their school in September 2024.
- ASC Teaching Assistant
- Full-time ASC Teaching Assistant role providing support to students with Autism Commencing in January 2024
- Daily pay rates starting at £84 per day and upwards from here dependent on experience
- Employment for the remainder of the academic year
As an SEN Teaching Assistant working in our client secondary schools, you will closely collaborate with identified students on a 1:1 basis, in mainstream classroom settings, and in small group sessions. To be considered for any of these positions, you should possess patience, understanding, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
