SEN Teaching Assistant - Chorley
Teaching personnel are recruiting on behalf of a popular Chorley Secondary school for a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join their support team from September 2021 on a part-time basis.
As a dedicated SEN teaching assistant, you will be providing 1:1 or small group support to SEN students. This could include students who may be too disruptive to for regular lessons, students with SEMH implications who may face issues with the social aspects of school life, or even helping students who may fall on the autistic spectrum reach their full potential.
- Pay between GBP10.20 - GBP12 per hour
- part time, long term position
- Supportive SENCO
- Monday - Wednesday, 8:25am until 3:05pm
- Excellent facilities and CPD
- September 2021 - February 2022
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching or supporting children with SEND, preferably within secondary schools. The SENCO is looking for a supportive, warm, and enthusiastic educator with a genuine passion for the role. You will be expected to have the capacity to deal with potentially challenging and difficult behaviour.
