Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity!

Locations – Bristol, Bath & Gloucestershire
Start Date – September 2025
Key Stages: 1–4 (Ages 5–16)
Pay: £89–£100 per day

Teaching Personnel is now recruiting its next group of enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for the 2025/2026 school year to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These may include:

  • Mental health challenges

  • ♿ Physical disabilities

  • Emotional or behavioural difficulties


What Makes This Role Special?

You’ll be supporting children aged 5 to 16, helping them thrive academically and personally. A patient, understanding, and compassionate approach is essential.


Position Highlights:

Start Date: September 2025
Work available in Bristol, Bath & Gloucestershire
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (may vary by school)
Monday to Friday (Term-time only – perfect for students!)
Opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidates


‍ What You’ll Be Doing:

✨ Support students with SEN in small groups or 1:1 sessions
Collaborate with other TAs and teaching staff to enhance learning
Build strong, trusting relationships so students feel safe and supported
Assist with classwork, providing help when and where needed


Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Someone passionate about education and making a difference
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and dedication!
Prior experience with SEN or challenging behaviour (in any setting) is a bonus, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
