We're looking for resilient, proactive, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behaviour Support Mentors – working directly with children and young people who need extra support to thrive in education and beyond.

Sports Coaches – who understand the power of teamwork, discipline, and motivation
Psychology or Criminology Graduates – eager to apply their knowledge in real-life settings
Social Workers or Support Workers – experienced in behaviour support or trauma-informed practice
Ex-Military Personnel – who bring calm under pressure, leadership, and structure
Youth Workers, Teaching Assistants, or anyone with experience supporting young people

As a Behaviour Support Mentor, You’ll:

✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional, or social challenges
✅ Build strong relationships that foster trust and respect
De-escalate incidents calmly and confidently
✅ Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies and support plans
✅ Act as a role model, coach, and steady presence in a young person’s day


What You’ll Need:

Natural resilience, empathy, and a good sense of humour
️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A calm, consistent, and fair approach to behaviour
Experience working with young people (formal or informal)
A current DBS or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
