Teaching Personnel is seeking compassionate and committed Teaching Assistants to join us for the 2025/2026 academic year, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). These amazing students, aged 5–16, may be non-verbal, have physical disabilities, and require personal care. Your role will play a vital part in their learning, wellbeing, and development.

Role Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (may vary depending on the school)
Days: Monday to Friday, term-time only
Contract: Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate

Your Responsibilities:
Support pupils with PMLD through a personalised curriculum, either 1:1 or in small groups
Provide essential personal care, including feeding, washing, and hygiene support
Encourage engagement through sensory-based activities and tailored learning resources
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and the wider school community

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Is passionate about supporting others and working within education
Has strong communication skills and a confident, caring approach ️
Has experience in care or support roles (highly desirable)
Has previous SEN or behavioural experience — beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
