Are you a Psychology graduate looking to make a real difference while gaining valuable, hands‑on experience working with children who have additional needs?
Teaching Personnel is seeking caring, motivated individuals to support Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across:
Bristol
Bath
Gloucestershire

These roles are ideal for graduates aspiring to careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, SEN teaching, social care, mental health, or any child‑focused profession.

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Teaching Assistants (TA)
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)

Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
Contract: Flexible roles – long‑term, short‑term, and permanent opportunities available

About the Schools & Students

You’ll be working in warm, supportive specialist SEN settings with students aged 5–19 who may have:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Moderate / Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • ADHD or associated behavioural needs
  • Sensory processing difficulties

Each school focuses on holistic development, helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

    (SEN or school experience is helpful but not essential - full training is provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
