Daily Rate: £89 – £100

Teaching Personnel is now welcoming applications for Unqualified Postgraduate Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in inclusive mainstream and specialist schools across Bristol, Bath, and Gloucestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin or develop your career in education, supporting young people aged 5–16 who may experience:

Mental health needs
♿ Physical disabilities
️ Communication difficulties
Behavioural challenges

Role Overview:
8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary slightly by school)
Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Opportunity for permanent positions for the right candidates


Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide tailored 1:1 or small group SEN support
✅ Work closely with teachers and support staff
✅ Assist with personalised lessons and activities
✅ Support Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
✅ Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
✅ Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils


What We’re Looking For:
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
SEN or behavioural experience (desirable, not essential)
Background in education, care, or sports coaching (preferred)
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
