Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted – Join Our Supportive Bournemouth Primary Schools!

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and rewarding role? Do you have the passion and dedication to support children with additional needs in a nurturing mainstream environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

About Us:

We work closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Bournemouth, all dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. These schools provide a supportive setting where pupils feel encouraged, valued, and empowered to succeed both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies

  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional well-being

  • Encourage independence and confidence through supportive and creative approaches

  • Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and differentiated learning tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who have supported children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs

  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable individuals

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive and reach their full potential

  • Relevant qualifications or experience within education (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
