SEN TA - Reception - Rochdale
If you have SEN experience and have worked with children in EYFS, then this might be a suitable position for you…
A school based in Rochdale are looking for an individual with this experience to support a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The position is temporary and will initially only be covering the autumn term although could be for longer.
The ideal candidate should be versatile graduate with experience supporting SEN children and someone who has the ability to communicate well with teachers and pupils. The school want to meet applicants who have the capabilities to handle extra responsibility as well as their original timetable. The head teacher is looking for someone who is a naturally supportive character that will help struggling students feel comforted and cared for. You should be able to quickly develop lasting relationships with your colleagues and the child you will work with.
Please apply if you have;
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification
- At least 6 months' experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
- Experience working with children at an EYFS level
- A 'Child Workforce' DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Supportive and understanding nature
- Able to commit on a full time basis
