We are offering a range of opportunities for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team, providing crucial support to students across both primary and secondary education.

What You'll Do:

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on students' lives by addressing their unique educational and emotional needs. Your role will involve working closely with students to help them develop essential life skills, manage their emotions, and achieve their academic goals. You will collaborate with teachers to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized or small group support to enhance students' emotional well-being and academic performance
  • Assist in crafting and implementing personalized education plans for students with mental health needs
  • Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting support as necessary
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding and privacy guidelines
  • Support classroom management and address the specific needs of students

What We’re Looking For:

  • GCSEs or Level 2 Equivalent in Mathematics
  • Experience in an educational or mental health setting, working with children, adolescents, or adults
  • A strong grasp of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and work effectively with staff
  • The ability to remain composed in challenging situations and provide constructive support
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and best practices in SEMH support
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a readiness to address concerns effectively
