Job description

Teaching Assistants – Make a Real Difference

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and specialist school setting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in SEN, who want to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop independence. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Be confident and compassionate in providing personal care support, ensuring student wellbeing, dignity, and safety at all times.

  • Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude

  • Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Work effectively as part of a team to support learning and behaviour

  • Be available full time (Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30, term time only)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
