Teaching Assistant – Alternative Provision (SEMH)
Full-time | January start | New Milton

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Teaching Assistant to join our small alternative provision in New Milton from January. Our school works with secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs, and we’re proud of the supportive, relationship-focused environment we offer.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, can stay calm under pressure, and understands that no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting pupils in class, helping them regulate emotions, and being a positive, consistent adult they can rely on.

You might be right for this role if you:

• Enjoy building strong relationships with young people

• Are patient, flexible and resilient

• Have experience with SEMH or are keen to learn

• Work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
