The Teaching Personnel SEN Branch in Preston are currently seeking Teachers who are experienced in SEN to support students across the North West. We currently work closely with a number of schools and Local Authorities who cater for children with varying needs. Please see below for more details...
GLD Schools: We work alongside a number of schools, catering for children from EYFS - FE with PMLD, SLD, ASC, Complex Needs and associated medical conditions. Ideally you will have a good understanding of all subjects, including sensory approaches to learning, and the ability to differentitate to suit individual needs.
PRU's: We work alongside a number of Pupil Referral Units, catering for children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health Difficulties and associated behavioural difficulties. We welcome Teachers across all subjects to support the needs of these students. You will ideally have experience working in a PRU or alternative provision or experience working in a prison or young offenders institute.
Tuition: We currently work alongside a number of local authorities who ask us to provide 1:1 tuition to Looked after Pupils and pupils who are new to the area and are awaiting a school place etc. The tuition can be from KS1-KS4 (at your preference) and could be anywhere from 2hrs per week, upwards. This role would ideally suit an experienced teacher, seeking part-time work / ad-hoc hours. We can even offer the opportunity for you to tutor more than 1 pupil per day, in separate sessions.
We are able to offer work to candidates on a full / part time basis and a long / short term basis, dependent upon your preferences.
We welcome Newly and Fully Qualified Teachers from varied backgrounds.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
