SEND Teacher – Permanent Role
Location: Norfolk

A prestigious, award-winning group of specialist education settings is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join the permanent staff team at one of their exceptional schools in Norfolk.
This school group is renowned for delivering outstanding, tailored education to children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and for creating an environment where every pupil can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with diverse learning needs.
-
Create and adapt lesson plans to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
-
Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures personal growth and independence.
-
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
-
Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to regular review meetings.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
-
Proven experience working with children and young people with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting.
-
Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, differentiation, and assessment methods.
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
-
A compassionate, resilient, and flexible approach.
-
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable
-
Additional qualifications in SEN or therapeutic interventions.
-
Experience with a range of needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
