Exciting SEN Teaching Opportunity Within Specialist Education

A beautiful specialist setting in Somerset is seeking an ambitious and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their expanding team on a full-time permanent basis.

This rewarding provision supports pupils aged 7 to 19 with autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.

The environment has been carefully designed to provide structure, consistency and encouragement, helping young people develop confidence, independence and self-esteem.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and personalised lessons while supporting pupils with varying educational and social needs.

You will be responsible for planning, assessment, progress monitoring and creating positive learning experiences that allow pupils to thrive.

Working closely with therapeutic teams and support staff, you will help create holistic learning pathways tailored to individual EHCP outcomes and personal goals.

 

Responsibilities Include

• Deliver creative and differentiated lessons
• Track and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Maintain accurate assessment records
• Work collaboratively with therapy and pastoral teams
• Promote confidence and independence
• Build positive relationships with families and carers
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school culture
• Maintain high safeguarding standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
