SEN Teacher

We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive school committed to providing high-quality education to all students, including those with special educational needs. Dedicated staff members work collaboratively to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
- Assess students' abilities and develop personalised learning goals and strategies.
- Implement a variety of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to provide comprehensive support and ensure students' holistic development.
- Monitor students' progress, adjust teaching methods as needed, and provide regular feedback to students and their families.
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, behaviour, and progress in line with school policies.
- Stay updated on best practices, research, and legislation related to special education needs to continuously improve teaching methods and support strategies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialisation in Special Education Needs (SEN) or relevant experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong understanding of different learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and behavioural challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of students with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
