Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a 1:1 support assistant to work in the centre of Oxford. The position is working with a year 7 boy with Autism and Social and Emotional Mental Health Difficulties in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Meet the Physical, Emotional, Behavioural and or other special needs of pupils
* Provide feedback to teachers and other professionals on pupils' progress in the evaluation of the support programme
and noting pupils' achievements or problems. To provide a link between parents and school
* As required, monitor, record and analyse pupil data eg daily attendance records and class behavioural records
Skills and abilities required:
* Knowledge of the national school curriculum
* Good questioning
* Good observation and assessment skills
* Knowledge of the standard of work expected from pupils
